E-commerce transactions demand extremely high stability and consistency — a single order or payment anomaly can directly affect real money flow. This role built my respect for detail and edge cases, and gave me my first deep understanding of the business logic behind commercial products: how coupons, promotions, and settlement rules shape conversion and revenue.

Refactoring the coupon system is the work I remember most — re-abstracting a long-accreted, hard-to-maintain rules engine without disrupting live business, cutting code by 40% while making future operations strategy adjustments far more flexible.
